Hi Dawn, tks 4 yr wishes. Yes, I'm okay. It's a mother-child-thing suggest to me by my health insurance. I am here with 1 of my 3 foster kids (the other 2 considered to be too old). Yep. Jeff stayed with AS Sweet from 1989 - 2003. In between he also played with BC Sweet. Although that must have been after 09.02.97 'cos he took over lead vocals. In fact I think Sweet never had a better lead singer -after Brian that is- than Jeff. Pity he left them - BUT GOOD FOR THE TREMS! It'll be interesting to see both bands on stage in Dortmund. Looking forward to it. If Chip was never part of the line-up I wonder how/why his name turned up on that list.

Chip has never said anything to me about being in BC Sweet and we wrote his bio together for the site. If he did step in for a gig or two, I suspect it was not as a full band member.
I could be wrong, so if anyone else has info...?
I do know Jeff Brown (now a Tremeloes member) was in Andy Scott's Sweet & BC Sweet.

Bit late but here it comes anyway: Happy New Year to everybody here. I have just finished reading a book about The Sweet and in the annex it says under the topic "Brian Connolly's Sweet line-ups" that Chip at one point was a member of BC Sweet. It must have been way after Brians death and he obviously stepped in for Glen. Unfortunately the book doesn't give any dates. Can anyone here help out? Would be interesting to know for how long Chip stayed with them 'cos the next line-up listed had Glen back on.
Got a very nice Xmas/birthday gift from my hubbie. He presented a ticket to me for the Oldiemarathon in Dortmund on May 19. Any chance of meeting up for signing all the old photos I found?? By the by: is Nigel still working for Chip/Trems? Cheers Andrea

Hey hello Chip . may i take you back to a funny incident in the early seventies.
i was a 15 year old kid playing fiddle in this little support band to the tremloes in a village called termon, in a marquee in donegal ireland
we had done what i believed to be our final song and the tremloes were introduced on stage then we noticed an incident with a steward (bouncer) or boxer may be more suitable name for him. ill say no more unless im asked to reveal the rest of the story (funny now but sore then) if you get a chance let me know if i should release episode two happy new year to u and all in the nest and thank you for the excitement all those years ago the tremloes were the first band i ever saw live that performed on top of the pops. i actually was in a support band again to you guys the following year further south you had a new guitar player this time :o) fiddler frank

Gutted about Chesney unable to compete in Dancing on Ice , I had a campaign going in work to support him. Posters and everything. Please give him my best wishes and hope he is on the mend soon. I know it is a very painful injury.
